The Story of Film
The Story of Film is a series of 15 episodes that take you from the very first piece of moving image right through to the latest 3D film releases that we see today.
With this poster we wanted to graphically represent this evolving process and so we developed a progressive ‘wheel’ that contains many of the mile stones in film making going from black and white through to vibrant colour. The triangular gradient at the base represents the projector from which all of these films have been projected.
