On a remote Scottish isle, siblings Isla and Sandy hunt birds and talk to mythical beings while fighting off outsiders. Their lives change when Daniel, an awkward official, arrives to relocate them.

Two Key Art routes were developed to accommodate differing market needs.
The ‘Totem’ became the preferred UK route, with its more graphic, distinctive and characterful approach amplifying the film’s offbeat comedy.
The ‘Cliff’ offered a more cinematic, photographic alternative, grounding the ensemble in the landscape and giving a stronger sense of place and story.

The result was two striking visual approaches that paired dark comic absurdity with the tender strangeness of an island out of step with itself.
